Tuesday June 11 – At Sea

Bill was disappointed that we did not have our camera on us when we bumped into the Captain yesterday, but when he saw him today he was ready and able to get the photo.

I went to a talk on Malta today.  It sounds a great place to visit.

Evidently, the sail away will be spectacular.  The other talk today was on Sidney Kidman.  The New Zealanders on board thought he was a relative of Nicole.  Actually, he was a cattle baron who came from humble beginnings to become the largest landholder in the British Empire when he died in 1935.

We are sailing through the Red Sea with Egypt on our port side and Saudi Arabia on the starboard side.  Tonight we were entertained by a professional group of singers and dancers who boarded our ship in Dubai.  We thought the Princess group were good, but these are outstanding.  The male dancers in particular are very athletic.  Great costumes, good singing and excellent dancing.  They have 22 different shows for us so we are looking forward to their next appearance.
