Saturday May 18 – At Sea

Another sea day.

The weather is now pleasantly warm: just perfect for reading a good book on our balcony.  We sailed up around the Cairns area today.  The ocean around here is dotted with a myriad of small islands. Our ballroom dancing with Fiona and Josh consisted of the jive so we had quite a workout.  Line dancing with the Brazilian, Ricardo was fun.  He really wanted us to use our hips more.  It is fun to catch up with Sue McGarry each day.  We went to school together and she has a wicked sense of humour.  After dinner tonight, we watched the election.  A very unexpected result with a win for the liberals.

Our cabin number is C330.  All the even numbers are on the port side of the ship.  There are art works al around the ship and the atrium, which is three levels high, is rather opulent.
