Today, we learnt the Tango and went to
a talk on Malaysia by Huck. The reason
for this talk is that it has now been decided that we will go to Kuala Lumpur
instead of Colombo, where the terrorist attacks occurred recently. So, tomorrow is Singapore and the following
day is Malaya. We crossed the equator
today but even though Bill and I looked, we could not see a red line across the
ocean to mark this important line. The
ship always acknowledges crossing the equator with the staff dressed up as a
judge and Neptune and his wife. The
pollywogs are the people on board who have never crossed the equator in a ship
and they are dealt with in quite a messy way.
Being shellbacks, or people who have crossed the equator in the past,
meant that we could just take photos of the event. The script was well written and quite witty.
Follow us on the Sea Princess as we travel west around the world in 2019. We hope you enjoy the posts and photos. Bill and Barbara Healy
