Friday July 26 – At Sea

We had a relaxing day today and enjoyed sitting on our balcony with the warmth of the sun, the purple water and the spawning coral,  We watched cormorants fly alongside the ship and then swoop suddenly and dart into the sea to catch a fish.  After their lunch there was much flapping of wings to dry them before starting over again.  When we went ashore yesterday we noticed a smell in the corridor outside our room.  The lady who cleans our cabin said it was coming from the port, but Bill reported it to maintenance.  When we returned they rang to check that the smell had gone, which it had. Now, today, we received free drink vouchers for the inconvenience of the smell.  Can’t complain about the service and care this ship gives.

Tonight we had a juggler for entertainment.  I’m not so fond of jugglers so watched the movie, The Fugitive, instead.  Bill went to the juggler and said not too many people turned up.  The performer enlisted the help of two of the audience members and Bill was one of the two chosen.  He had to throw the baton to the juggler who was juggling three batons at the time and Bill had to catch the baton that the other guy threw to him at the same time.  I am told by Bill that it worked perfectly.  My clever husband.
