We
watched the movie, Apollo 11 today. Even
though you know what happens, I found it gripping and felt the excitement that
the Americans would have felt as they slept out to be there when the Saturn
Rocket took off for the moon in the early hours of July 21 in 1969. When the
lights came on at the end of the movie, one of the Chinese passengers in front
of me was sound asleep. She did not even
wake as people filed out.
We
had a talk on Curacao which is our next port of call and Bill had a much needed
haircut. It looks good but he is not
giving up on his Melbourne hairdresser, Maree, as the one on board did not wash
all the soap out, so his hair feels stiff.
I thought it might be mousse but he assures me it is soap.
Our entertainer tonight was Craig
Richard from Colorado. He played the
alto saxophone and the soprano saxophone as well as the guitar and piano. I liked his works on the saxophones
best.
We will be going through the Panama
Canal on Sunday. If you interested you can watch our progress through the locks
