Saturday June 1 – At Sea

We had a talk on Dubai, Watched Geelong beat Sydney in the AFL and also Melbourne just lose to Adelaide.

Our pre dinner show was “Ye Old Pub Night”, performed by the crew and the singers and dancers.  They got the audience involved singing Suzy Suzy, My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean, It’s a Long Way to Tipperary and Pack up Your Troubles.  After dinner, we had a comedian, Simon Palomeres.  He was really quite funny. 

We are now in the Arabian Sea, sailing past the west coast of India.

A small criticism of the world cruise is the tendency of Princess to upsell everything at every opportunity. Nothing is exempt: food, drink, photos, excursions, spa treatments. This can be quite irritating. Just ignoring it is the best course of action. Our cruise director is Jody Miles and she is the best we have ever had. An extremely talented singer and communicator. Jodie is the one below at the pub night carrying the microphone.
